Hi!,

Is there LG mj1 cell chemical ID on BQ Evaluation Software(BQ20z655-R1)? I could't find in the default cell chemical ID list. I know that I should do some tests on the cell and send the test reports to TI then they will send me some files . But I am asking is there anybody did it before for lg MJ1 cells?

It has been done, the ID is 2059.

I cant find the ID 2059 :/ The last one is 1146 ?

bq20z655-r1.zipThe tool isn't updated. Please use the attached zip file and extract it to your C:\Program Files (x86)\Texas Instruments\bq Evaluation Software\Plugins\Chemistry folder. Then update your chem.ini file in that with the following at the end.

[633_Chem]

ChemID=2059

Description=NiCoMn/carbon, -20C

NumKnownCells=1

HF_Data=1

2OCV_Data=1

1=LGC: INR18650MJ1 (3500mAh)

Finally to to the top of the chem.ini file and update the

[Chemistry]

NumChemFiles=xxx by 1 to indicate that you have added one chem ID to the list.

Thank you Batt but I couldnt see the LG MJ1 chemical on the list yet.

I downloaded the attachent, extracted and copied in to C:\Program Files (x86)\Texas Instruments\bq Evaluation Software\Plugins\Chemistry directory. Then I edited Chem.ini file. You can see the blue lines I added.

Could you check the problem ?

Please change the 633 to 257 and you restart bqevsw.

Is there any database where I can find the chem files of some cells doesnt exist in the BQEVSW chem ID list ?

I dont want to make you bored with that :)

Sorry, there is no such database. We stopped releasing the .chem files some time ago.
