Hi sir/Mam

I have been working with bq76pl455 EVM. It worked fine. Now I need to prepare my own PCB with 20 bq76pl455A-Q1 ICs. My questions are, Is the IC loaded with the code or else should I write on my own? If I have to write how can I load that into IC, means should I write code in the main controller or in IC itself? Is there any sampled code for IC?

    Hi Revathi,

    The bq76pl455a does not hold any control software internally, it is purely a slave that is controlled by an external mcu via UART protocol. We offer example code at the bottom of this link: www.ti.com/.../toolssoftware that is used with Code Composer Studio and the TMS570 mcu. It is up to you to decide if you want to base your code off of our example or start from scratch but we recommend starting out with the example.
