TPS84410: Sense pin and placement of output capacitors

Part Number: TPS84410

PLs find the attached schematics

I need to generate a 0.95V core voltage output with 3% accuracy.

I would like to have an isolation feature to test. is the arrangement ok?? Is the placement of capacitors ok??

pls suggest

  • Hi Rakesh,

Looks like you are following the recommended minimum output capacitance in Table 4. For layout, the closer the output caps are to the VOUT pin the better because this minimizes high frequency noise. From your schematic, when J6 is populated the SENSE line will connect to the output load. If J6 is unpopulated, the SENSE line is connected to the the VOUT pin. This looks okay.
