question about battery small signal model

Hi,

I read an application note about small signal model for battery on TI website , SLUA371-closed loop compensaton design of a synchronous switching charger using bq2472x/3x

it seems that it is mentioning only for 1 cell battery model.

when comes to 2 cells, just series connect the 1 cell model ?

what about 3/4 cell?

Hi Yulin,

Unfortunately, I do not have more information about that model than what is shown in the application report. It appears that the model is specifically for 18650 battery. TI has removed that application report from our website.

you means that is for single cell 18650 battery? so when comes to two cell series connected 18650 battery, can i simply series connect the small singnal model ?

I cannot say for certain. The engineer who wrote this appnot is no longer at TI.
