Part Number: UCC28230
Testing with the UCC28230EVM has shown that startup time is significantly increased at cold temperatures (<20degC). If power is cycled after the initial startup a hiccup cycle in initiated which increases the time from application of input power to output starting (see plots below). This has been verified on multiple date code parts.
- What is the cause of the hiccup cycle during startup at cold?
- How can this be eliminated? Startup time requirements cannot be met at cold temperatures.
