re: Output is at +2.5v with Inhibit low for PTH08T240W

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: PTH08T240W

I used the PTH08T240W in my design with inhibit control according to your application schematic in the datasheet. However, some of the PTH08T240W will not turn off the output. When the inhibit is low, it always output +2.5v even the normal output is +1.5v.

  • The PTH08T240W when the inhibit pin is low, less than 0.3V, the module will tristate and cease to function . This means  a prebias voltage is backfeeding through or from  another  IC or circuit to the PTH08T240W output bus. The description implies that  prebias  is present when it is inhibited.
