Is the feedback input [FB] of the Shunt Voltage Reference LM4041-N ADJ protected against voltage higher than [+]?

If yes, how. If not, how should it protected external?

Hi Rudolf,

I have tested VREF>VKA in the lab and I experienced no issues or damage on the device. I am going to ask my internal design team to confirm for any protection devices.

Hi Rudolf,

There is no internal protection for VREF>VKA but as long as the breakdown voltage of the PNP at the VREF is not violated then there is no issue. 10V-20V+ is common for typical breakdowns.
