TPS61236P: Reconfirmation of Data sheet for Operating junction temperature in Recommended Operating Conditions

TI Part Num: TPS61236PRWLR (PKG type: VQFN-HR_RWL-9pin)
I would like to confirm if the recommended operating junction temperature maximum is 125 degree C, or not.

Datasheet describes as below.
7.3 Recommended Operating Conditions (www.ti.com/.../tps61236p.pdf)

Tj Operating junction temperature min -40 max 125 degrees C on page4.

Because Op Temp of this device states "-40 to 85" in packaging information on page 31 and below web site.

If it is correct, can you advise how we explain about the discrepancy of Op Temp?

Hi,

The recommended operating junction temperature maximum value is 125C as shown on page 4. The information"-40 to 85" on page 31 means recommended operating ambient temperature. The junction temperature is always higher than ambient and that's why there should be some room between Ta and Tj.
