LM25117: How to reduce MOS temperature?

Hi

Simulation of LM25117 on WEBENCH.          

Input 4.5V~36V, output 3.65V/8A.           

MOSFET M2 has a high temperature (Tj greater than 100 degrees C).            

Is there a recommended MOS model to reduce the temperature?           

In addition, LM25117 on WEBENCH     

Set the input voltage to 4.5V~24V and output 3.65V/8A.           

Why can't it be simulated?

    Hi Jerry,

    You can use the LM5117 quickstart file available by download from the product folder.

    If possible, please send the WEBENCH schematic for review so we can review choice of low-side MOSFET. My recommendation is a 40V NexFET such as CSD18504Q5A.
