TPS54719: higher Vin p2p part request

Hi,

Customer is using TPS54719 in their design. 

They are supplying the IC with an input of 4.5Vdc and in some cases, the ICs are getting blown off when the boards are powered ON or when the system is turned ON

 Can you please suggest a pin compatible alternate to same IC, with higher input voltage, of the order of 12V or higher?

    Hi Prahlad,
    I'm afraid there are no pin2pin part which have the same output current rating and higher input voltage. I have some recommendations for you, like TPS54824, TPS54821, TPS53513, please check to see whether they are OK.
    On the other hand, you don't need to change IC, just put Zener diode at the input of the IC to filter the transient input voltage overshoot.
