Hello support team,

 

My customer want to know following items:

 

  1. Need to know min and max value of Iss Soft-start current (typ 5uA) across temp and process variation
  2. How much is the FB terminal current?
  3. Valley current limit

Is there any limitation current? The customer is concerned when load is no load. They saw the output voltage is very large by off Low side FET due to exceeded the valley current limit.

    Hi Izumi,

    1. TPS561208 has internal fixed soft start time. The typical is 1ms. We do not measure the Iss due to it is internal.

    2. Please refer to the EC table in datasheet. The Ifb is very small in nA magnitude.

    3. This device limit the valley inductor current. It means that if the inductor valley current is higher than limit, the device will keep low side on until inductor current reduce below limit. I dont get your description on no load case. When no load, the inductor current will be small. There is no chance the valley current will be above the current limit. Could you explain your questions more?
