I am using UC2854ADW for 5kW PFC Boost converter (90V-270V Input AC and 400V Output) . It was working fine until we got the new batch of these IC's where in when we go from full load to no load, the converter output voltage rises to 500V. We have DC bus fault protection where it turns OFF the controller IC.
The batch number which works fine is - UC2854ADW / 48Z182V
The batch number which gives fault is - UC2854ADW / 81Z12WV
We are facing a lot of issues and not able to find the exact cause with the new batch of IC's. Request to please help me on this for a possible solution since we have purchased a lot of these IC's and are in stock.
