TPS3898: delay time calculation

Part Number: TPS3898

Hi Team,

Customer put total 1.47uF (1uF+0.47uF) at CT pin.

Based on calculation, the delay should be 1.47 * 4 s + 40us ~ 5.88s

But actual time delay measurement is about 1s.

Is the calculation correct? 

Any tips we can check with customer? Thanks.

    Hi Andrew
    The equation is correct.
    Can you please confirm that 1uF and 0.47uF are in parallel. Because series of 1uF and 0.47uF will give 0.32uF equivalent capacitance and acoocrding to the equation we will get 0.32*4 s + 40us = 1.28s delay.
