Compiler/UCD3138A: flashing UCD3138 under Linux

I'm told that this should be possible with our Uniflash tool. See www.ti.com/.../UNIFLASH, there is a Linux version available.

Uniflash is a subset of CCS, just the part for flashing, so it should be what you want.

It has a command line interface and a GUI interface. Perhaps first check with the GUI to ensure it is possible, then use command line from there if so.

Unfortunately, neither they nor I have the ability to confirm for sure if this is possible, as neither of us has an xds200.

I have had some further discussions with the CCS team in the US.

At present there is no flash library available for Linux, both for CCS and Uniflash, so it won't work unfortunately.

I can open discussions with the team in the US about getting it working on Linux and OSX, but this could take some time.

that's bad news for me. However, it seems that I could migrate to Windows, but still only command line tool is useful for me here. Would this migration help (if using JTAG with XDS200 probe)?
Also, probably I could give up using JTAG, and instead use the PMBUS interface (e.g. with HPA-172 probe). Do you have the proper command line tools for that (Linux - preferred, Windows)?

On the first question, migrating to windows should mean that you can use JTAG with the xds200, using Uniflash, which has a command line interface.

We also have a command line tool that works with PMBus, but again only Windows unfortunately.
