Hi everyone,

I'm using bq76pl455a for battery monitoring system with 6 series li-on battery.

And I bought tms570ls0432 for its software, I just want to use its recomended software but I'am getting this define error "int nSent"

I also adding this error page as a screenshot below the text,

Can anybody help me,

Hi Enes,

Sorry for the issues, however in the screenshot you sent I cannot see the console menu displayed so it is difficult to understand the error. Can you reattach the full image and confirm you have made no changes to the example code?

I installed the code. but the voltage and temperature values come in hex. How can I translate them?

Hi Enes,

The information for converting values is located in the datasheet pg. 27 starting on section 7.3.3.4 VSENSE Input Channels.

Hi Enes,

This is not an error, this is just a warning letting you know that the variable nSent is not being used. If you want to understand this more you can visit the code composer studio wiki/forums but you can ignore this warning for the purposes of your testing.

Hi Taylor,
OK. problem solved. but I need to print the voltages on the screen. but how do I add a code?

Hi Enes,

Please check section 7.3.3.4 (VSENSE Input Channels) of the Datasheet for info on how to convert raw data bytes to voltages from the registers.

"VCELL = [(2 × VREF) / 65535] × READ_ADC_VALUE"

The result of this conversion can then be printed to the console using a printf() statement.
