Trying to use an EV2300 with the BQ25601DEVM-877 and Battery Management Studio, but Battery Management Studio doesn't seem

to be aware of the BQ25601D part.

When I bring up Battery Management Studio (my USB is connected to the EV2300, which is plugged into the BQ25601DEVM-877 I2C lines),

and I double-left-click to bring up all the parts BMS is supposed to work with, the BQ25601D is not in the pull-down menu.

Also, I'm not sure my computer is actually connected to the EV2300.

I'm just trying to start the evaluation board up.

Can you give me some direction?

Hi,

Recently we recommend customers to use EV2400 interface board to connect charger EVM board, so can you order it to do the same evaluation.

The EV2400 EVM interface board enables an IBM-compatible or other type PC (with the required driver for its particular platform) to communicate with the Texas Instruments SMBus or I2C interface gas gauges via a Universal Serial Bus (USB) port. In addition to this board, PC software is required to interpret the gas gauge data to complete the evaluation system.
