BQ25122: SW Inductor selection

Dear Sir/Madam,

I would like to use BQ25122 in a wireless earphone application. My Vin will be 5V to charge a single cell Li-ion battery. My SW buck output will be from 1.2V to 1.4V (300mA) (not fixed yet). May I know is there any recommended inductor that can give better efficiency based on my design requirement? Appreciate if you can share me some information on the inductor selection. Thank you very much.

    Hi,

    Our suggestion inductor value is 2.2uH with 10uF output cap. And please see below discription to know how to select inductor specification for efficiency.

    In general, lower inductor DCR will improve efficiency.
