TPS55010: Should customer change the layout if customer use passive components on COMP pin?

Hi, Team.

could you tell me whether should customer change the layout if customer use passive components on COMP pin?

since the layout from tps55010 datasheet doesn't show Cc,Rc,Chf so that customer doesn't know how should they make the layout with Cc,Rc,Chf.

could you tell me should they change or just follow the datasheet?

Takahashi-san,

For some reason the COMP network is only represented by a capacitor in Figure 55 PCB Layout Example. I very highly recommend that you place a resistor and capacitor in series from COMP to GND as well as a parallel capacitor directly from COMP to GND. You will need these three components for proper compensation. You can check the EVM users guide for an example:
