TPS40210: TPS40210 cannot boost

Hi Sir

we use TPS40210 design as for Vin:12V, Vout: 24V/6A according to the recommended circuit of TI Webench, however,when the load exceeds 1A the TPS40210 will be not boost,  we short the ISNS resistance short to GND Still invalid，the SCH as follow， pls help check it and give some suggestions how solve this problem,tks!

    Hi Darren,

    I cannot find obvious problem in your schematic except for the missing capacitor at the ISNS pin. Yes you mentioned you shorted sense resistor, but its not clear how did you short it.

    Please add a 100pF acrsoss the ISNS and GND, and place the cap close to the IC. The phenomenon that you described is the issue of tripping the OCP.

    Please try again and see if there is any improvement. If not, please take a few scope pictures for us to review: The Vds of Q2, and the ISNS pin voltage.
