Hi,

Our customer is using LT3999 as 12V battery to 12V/0.8A solution.

Does TI has any suggestion for LT3999 replacement?

BTW, the much easier the better.

Thank you for posting to E2E! The simplest comparable design uses the SN6505 operating at 5V. A transformer with turns ratio of ~2.5 is needed, but this will limit the output current to 410mA.

Is this acceptable for our customer?

Hi Manuel,

Could you please check the spec I mention previously.
SPEC: 12V battery to 12V/0.8A solution

So SN6505 is only 5V and no enough output current; the LM25180's current rating is also too small.
Is there any else solution? Thank you.

What is the input voltage for this power supply? If greater than 5.5V, the LM25037 may be a capable device. Is this a possibility for our customer? Please let me know.

The input is 12V battery, and the output need 12V/1A.
