Hi,what's the output current-limit mean? the current is surge current?

    The output current limit is a protection circuit integrated into the TPS7A19. While TPS7A19 is designed, characterized, and tested for operation with up to a 450 mA load current, a linear regulator will attempt to source however much current the load demands. Sometimes external conditions and scenarios cause an unexpected high current draw above the rated current. The current limit circuitry will engage to limit the current flowing through the TPS7A19 under these conditions.
