TPS2662: Analog current monitor output function with TPS26624

Hi Kari,

At the below E2E case, you asked as below.

ILIM pin has current information flowing through the external resistor connected to ILIM pin.
Connecting an I-V converter (with opamp -ve input connecting to ILIM resistor and +ve input connected to RTN) will give voltage corresponding to current flowing through load.

Please review below TPS26624 schematic if it can work analog current monitor output function or not.

Hello Nicky,

Sorry for delay in reply here.

I checked this, the iLIM voltage on TPS2662 remains fixed at 1V independent of output current. So it would not be possible to use ILIM for monitoring output current.

Which one is the right answer?
You mean current information on ILIM pin is not the information of output current?

If customer check the current of ILIM pin not output current, attached schematic can work?
