TPS25927: Power consumption up to 1W in reverse current mode and UVLO

Part Number: TPS25927

Hi,

I am using TPS259271 as a bidirectional switch, and I am noticing a power consumption of around 1W in the package when in reverse current mode and in UVLO. Everything works normally when the package is out of UVLO.

The BFET pin is floating in the design, but the current consumption in the package seems to be consistent with this relation Vout/(Rdson of 22 ohms of the internal NMOS). Somehow the BFET nMOS is sinking current from Vout when in reverse current mode and in UVLO.

Is this behavior normal?
