Hi,
I would like to know Power limit feature of LM5069 is same as LT4256-1CS8.
My understanding of LM5069 are that the voltage between SENSE and VIN checks current condition and device controls Gate voltage depend on the voltage. Once over current condition is happened, the Gate voltage will be reduced to achieve Power dissipation of external FET.
I believe this power limit feature is same function as fold back of LT4256. but could you please confirm if my understanding is correct?
