EM1402EVM: EM1402EVM Active Balancing circuit working

Hi,

   I am working with EM1402EVM(rev B) board. Active balancing circuit is working with EM1499Q DC DC converter and EM1428Q ICs. On EM1402EVM we are using 12V supply with EM1499Q. 

Why 12V only? I think we have to use battery pack voltage instead of 12V(for example if 16 cells means 16*4.2V=67.2V)
