SOT23-5 LDO regulator with Vout on pin1

Does someone know if a SOT23-5 LDO line regulator exists with its Vout on pin1?

I know its always on pin5 but maybe...

    Hi Pascal,

    While the more standard pin configuration for the SOT-23 package has OUT as pin 5, there are a few exceptions such as TPS709A.

    When selecting an LDO it is important to know Vin, Vout, and Iout for the application.  This information will help limit how many LDO datasheets you will need to look through to find your desired pinout.

    Thanks a lot Ryan, you made my day! I could fit the TPS709A in my circuit even if the WSON pinout would be best! Are you aware if such pinout exist in SOT23 package? Regards, Pascal

    Hi Pascal,

    If you would like additional assistance to find an LDO that fits your application, please provide Vin, Vout, and Iout for the application. Very few linear regulators in the SOT-23 have OUT as pin 1, but knowing the application conditions will help us know if any will fit your application.

    Hello Ryan,

    Thanks for your quick response!

    The perfect linear reg for my retrofit 'quest' would be to replace the op amp in the circuit below with an linear reg of 2.5V without redesigning the PCB...

    It has to be Vout=2.5V @30mA (min) and Vin=3.3V (but could be higher).

    As you can see, Vout could be on pin 4. I can rotate the part if the pinout fits!

    Hi Pascal,

    Thank you for the additional information. Unfortunately I am not aware of an LDO in the SOT-23 package that fits your voltage rail requirements and either pinout location for OUT.
