CCS/UCD3138: ADC speed setting

Hello:

I found ADC sampling_sel can choose different speed .

But in the manual it suggest setting the speed as 267K. Now I want to get the more faster speed want use 538Ks/s or 1008Ks/s.

can I set the register to 5 or 4? and Using more faster sampling speed,is possible to affect my project ? Such the affect interrupt event or other function.

Or What should i consider in the project ,when i use more faster ADC sampling speed? Have any suggestion to set ADC sampling speed?

This depends on which exact UCD you are using.

If you are using one of the A version devices, such as UCD3138A, then you can choose 4= 538KS/s.

If you are using one of the non-A version devices, such as UCD3138, then you should only choose 6= 267KS/s.

Why ? and if i not use the suggestion speed what problem would happen?

If you are using the UCD3138 non-A version, your ADC accuracy at other settings besides the 267 KS/s are not guarantied. And the errors may be significantly higher.
