I want to drive a CAN transceiver with 5V generated by LP2985.
The Datasheet states, that the outputcapacicance shall be at minimum 2,2uF with no upeer limit.
But the ESR of the capacitor shall meet the range in figue 18 (in my case).
I am missing the frequency, where the ESR shall be met.
The ESR at DC (where I assume all of the LDOs are working) is too high (to say unlimited when the kapacitor is ideal).
I checked serval Capacitor manufacturer (Kemet, AVX, TDK, MuRaTa) and the ESR at the lowest given frequency is always higher than 1 Ohm.
I would want to use the following 10uF Capacitor at the output.
Will it meet the Requirements of the datasheet?
