Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UCC24624
Hello Everybody,
Can I use the UCC24612 with VIN = 12Vac? (we are a swimming pool light manufacturer)
Do you have any application notes?
Thanks in advance
Abel

Hello Abel,
The LED lights for pool either work off a 120V AC or are power by 12V DC. That being said the UCC24612 will work with direct bias from 5-V to 28-V so if the customer is trying to design an AC to DC converter this can be used to replace the rectifier diode in a flyback. If they are designing for high power > 150W they can use an LLC power converter with the UCC24624 for the SR drivers.
There is application information in the data sheet, user’s guide and there are some application notes to use these devices. The following link will get your customer to this technical information.
