TPS1H100-Q1: If TPS1H100 has about 10.2MHz switch frequency internal?

Hi, Team:

We DIN TPS1H100-Q1 in Infotainment project but when run EMC test with no load but TPS1H100-Q1 enabled, we find there is a 10.2MHz RE spike close to TPS1H100-Q1. We checked, if disable the switch, the spike will disappear.

Can you help to check and advise if TPS1H100-Q1 will have internal 10.2MHz switching? If possible way to reduce it?

Hello,

It is the internal charge pump running from the battery. The charge pump frequency is around 6MHz. What is the decoupling capacitor value on VS pin to device GND. Do you have ground network? I suggest to use 100nF + 220nF + 4.7nF for VS to GND and 1uF in parallel to the GND network if it is implemented.

Customer study more and find there is high frequency spot close to pin 4, can you help to check if there is circuit connection chipset internal? If any way to reduce the RE in pin4?

Hello,

Pin 4 is NC. I believe is not connected internally but will double check. How customer detects the high frequency spot close to pin 4? Is it direct measurement by touching the pin 4 using a probe? What is the value of the high frequency?
