Hi team,

we have two questions want to check with you. Thanks.

1. why the devices cannot support >50% duty cycle with master mode?

2. whether the device cannot support below 100khz? And why?

    Hello Frank,

    The TPS40170 should be able to switch slightly below the min frequency of 100 kHz, but I would not reduce frequency significantly below the minimum value. You will likely experience some inaccuracies from the RRT equation when going below 100 kHz.

    The device can support >50 duty cycle. The noise sensitivity described in the datasheet relates to duty circle around 50% and not >50%, if the duty cycle is >50% there should be no noise/jitter.
