Hi guys,
we have this charger and gas gauge on our alpha board. Each IC has a TS pin for measuring the battery thermistor.
The battery charger needs a resistor divider between VREGN & GND with the center connected to TS and the NTC thermistor in the battery.
The gas gauge just requires the battery thermistor connection directly to the TS pin.
Is there a way to have both charger and gas gauge connected to the thermistor? I would like to be able to read the battery temperature through the gas gauge, but still allow the charger to regulate charging based on temperature.
