My customer has an simple inquiry about safety timer in charger IC.
Most of charger ICs contain internal safety timer and there is the folloaing description about safety timer on datasheet.
[ bq2407x devices contain internal safety timers for pre-charge and fast-charge phases to prevent potentiol damage to the battery and the system]
Now Customer wants to know the specific content(or example) about this potential damage to the battery and the system.
Please give some advices about them.
If you have application notes that explain them, please tell them.
