BQ24610: little charging current

Hi Bruce,
What is the battery voltage measured, when low current is measured? Can you take a scope capture of PH, ACDRV, VCC and SRN?
I have done a review of the schematic and everything looks fine, but as the MOSFETs are paralleled, there might be other considerations. Can you also take a scope capture of HIDRV, LODRV, IL (inductor current)? I will work on the layout review and get back to you early next week.

Hi Bruce,
Can you overlay BTST, PH, HIDRV and LODRV on the same graph. I am looking to see if internal gate drive strength is strong enough to drive the extra Qg of paralleled MOSFET. If not it will result in BTST cap not able to provide charge across the high side pulse, causing constant LSFET turn on to refresh BTST cap charge. Will it be possible to evaluate on an EVM which does not have parallel MOSFETs, or remove the MOSFETS in parallel with HSFET and LSFET? EVM has been validated for 10A which is customer's specified charge current. I will get back to you with comments on layout tomorrow.

I have done a review of the layout and haven't found anything that stands out as an issue. I will keep reviewing to see if I find anything, but it doesn't look like layout is an issue at this point.
