BQ34110: How to disable battery discharging when battery temperature is too high or to low

Hello,

We have use "BQ34110PWR" and "BQ25703ARSNR" in our product design.

Product has external power adapter as well as a Battery. We would like to turn off battery discharging for conditions like "Over temperature for discharging condition".

How can we do this ?

    Hi Snehal,

    The BQ34110 does provide multiple data flash settings to help with charger control, but it cannot control the charger. Many smart chargers can read the Charger Control data flash settings to adjust settings or disable charging at different temperatures. Either the charger or a microcontroller would need to read these settings to take action.

    I suggest you post this question again tagging BQ25703 as the part number in order to get help from the charger team.
