LM3150: Power cycling lockup seen when enable pin is connected to an external pullup resistor

Part Number: LM3150

We have a problem where rapid cycling of the supply voltage with a toggle switch into a LM3150 would cause the output to fail to turn on or to turn on at a low output voltage.  We had a 10K Ohm pullup on the EN pin to Vin.  Removing this resistor seems to have resolved the problem.  The EN pin is now a no-connect.  I am assuming that switch bounce noise was causing the fault per section 8.4 of the device data sheet.  Is is safe practice to add a 1nF capacitor to prevent false disabling, or is this not necessary if there is no other connection to the EN pin?

Thanks in advance.
