LP8860-Q1: LED current setting

Part Number: LP8860-Q1

Dear TI Experts,

I have some doubts about  lp8860,and need your suggestion:

1. About LED current,  their are two ways to limit the current ,

① . set register 0x66, EN_EXT_LED_CUR_CTRL to 1,LED current is scaled by the RISET resistor

 ② set register 0x63, DRV_LED_CURRENT_SCALE[2:0]

My question is, if above two ways are all set, which one will the  LED current follow?

2. LED_STRING_CONF[2:0] is to set LED current sink configuration, will the phase shift influence the total current?

3.I met with a problem that when the input voltage decrease, the screen will flick(boost OCP occurs),at this moment,I rconfig  0x71 register to  disable spread spectrum, it all becomes good,no flicker phenomenon~

I'd like to know the  spread spectrum's influence on the OCP when the input voltage decrease
