TPS56628: EN delay time

Part Number: TPS56628

What level delay time does TPS56628 have from Enable becomes high to Vout rise up?

On datasheet Figure 7, I think it is about 200us.

Please tell me the delay time number if you have. We don't require guaranteed value, reference value is OK.

Kohei Sasaki

  • Hi,

On the datasheet condition it is about 200us level, but when the VREG5 capacitor value changes, the time will also change. Please refer to the datasheet values when you disign and the delay time should be resonable, thanks.
  • Thank you for your reply.

I understood the EN delay time relate to VREG5 rise up time.
Does Vout starts rise-up when VREG5 rise up to 5.5V?
If it is so, I think we can calculate VREG5 rise up time from VREG5 capacitor value and charge current. I think the charge current value is about 25mA. Is this right?

  • Hi,

Basically you are right but we cannot guarantee the threshold voltage, the minimum of charge current should be 20mA. Thanks.
