Hi,

Greetings…!!

We have used battery charger part# BQ25895RTWT in our one of the product. We have used LI-ION 18650 - 3500mAH battery.

Currently, we are facing issue with charging the battery. Once the battery reaches 90+% capacity we are not able to see the charging the battery continuously. We are able to notice that the battery charger switching between charging-discharging continuously. And battery doesn't reach 100% capacity.

Please see the attached schematic for your reference.

Mrudang,

When the device is not charging, REG0B=02 shows "NO INPUT" and "NOT POWER GOOD". Please double check the input at VBUS pin.

Hi,

As shown on the previous post, the GUI shows "No Input". Please double check the input at VBUS pin.

Dear Sir,

I checked and measured the 5V on VBUS. The same voltage is also detected on processor on VBUS pin.

Hi,

Since the GUI shows "No INPUT", it needs debugging. Could you please check scope waveform on the VBUS pin of the BQ25895?

Hi Ning,

As we are seeing the VBUS is available and we haven't inform that "No Input" on GUI. We see continuous DC 5V on scope as well on VBUS pin.

Mrudang,

In the register values you provided earlier: REG0B=02=>REG0B[7:5]=000=>No Input & REG0B[2]=0=> Not Power Good. Please double-check.
