TI replacement solution to MIC5021

Dear team,

May I know if we have right solution to compete MIC5021? Below is customer requirements and application is PLC DO. Thank you.

1. High side MOSFET driver

2. ON/OFF frequency is up to 20KHz.

3. 24V/50mA

4. adjustable current limit

    Thanks for reaching out to the High Power Drivers tea, my name name is Mamadou Diallo, I will help address your questions.

    Please find attached our current solution using UCC27282 or TPS28225.

    Please note that this solution requires a floating bias using SN6501 and a small transformer to provide bias to the high-side N-channel FET.

    UCC27282 through its UVLO allows operation for VDD>5V and this solution can handle bus voltages up to 100V when using UCC27282. 

    You can implement the current externally using a general purpose amplifier for cost purposes.
