Original question:
I'm looking for the easiest way to program UCD90160 devices in the factory without needing to provide the factory the entire design suite of Fusion. Also to program do I need a "Program + data flash" or "data flash" only? If I can do data flash only, can any of the TI tools program a device in a standalone GUI? Not full up fusion?

Custome shall not program Program Flash anytime. data flash is the only memory customer shall deal.
We do recommend customer using data flash hex or script file for programming which can be exported from Fusion GUI tool.
Yes, Fusion GUi provided many ways to help customer to program the data flash.
1. Dos command line tool. FusionConfigWrite.exe this tool is avaiable once the fusion GUI is installed. customer can run the command to programt the device.
2. using the Firmware & Configuraiton Downlaod Tool as shown below.
The above two meathods require a full installation of the fusion GUI.
The third method is that TI also provides a manufacture GUI which is for programming only.

You can ignore the firmware portion which is not for customer. please uncheck the download box next to the firmware download, your will be fine.
1. put the correct address
2 select data flash file
3. select the correct data flash hex file exported from GUI. Refer this training video
4. click start to prgoram.
Yes MFR_GUI works unde windows 10. Do you follow the document under help menu to input the password(texas)
The fimrware version is the part of the DEVICE_ID string, which can be retrieved by DEVICE_ID command. From the Fusion GUI, it is under footnote as shown below:
