  • Hi Given,

The product expert is on business travel, but I will take the first response while he is out, if there are additional details he can add them when he is available. The main difference between the TPS65311-Q1 and the TPS65310A-Q1 is the switching frequency for the DCDC converters.

  • Hi Given,

Scott is correct and main difference between 310 and 311 is the switching frequency of BUCK2/3 and BOOST. 310 is more like a custom device for one specific customer and 311 is more towards catalog market and we recommend 311 as this helps to reduce the inductor size due to higher switching frequency and also it switches outside AM band..
