Other Parts Discussed in Thread: GPCCHEM
Hello again,
We are still trying to program our BQ27426 to return the State of Charge of our 110 mAh, 4.2 V, Li-Ion battery (RJD2430C1). It was suggested that the Chem ID we selected does not closely match our battery, but we are pretty confident that the Chem ID is a close match. We are programming the:
Battery Chemistry: Chem B profile
Capacity: 110
Energy: 407
Lower Voltage: 3000
Taper Rate: 220
We are charging the battery with the BQ25570, which is an energy harvester hooked up to solar panels. The load is a communication board, MSP430, and a sensor, pulling a combined power of about 20 mA when transmitting, and just a couple of mA when not transmitting. When using the BQ27426, we still read the correct voltage across the battery. However, State of Charge (read from 0x1C) and Remaining Capacity (read from 0x0C) both return 2, which shouldn't be correct. Are we perhaps using the wrong configurations?
Thanks again!
Brady
