Hi Team,

Customer is looking buck and boost converter solutions.
Would you please recommend the proper solution for this?

Buck converter
Vin=15V, Vout=4V, Iout=6A

Need 2 phase, because we have maximum height limitation, need low down inductor current to reduce inductor size.

Or one phase solution but inductor can under 0.47uH.

Boost converter
Vin=7~8.8V, Vout=15V, Iout=2.5A. Also need support inductor value can under 1uH.

For your buck converter TPS62180 is the interleaved solution:

Please be advised the maximum recommended input voltage is 15 V, so you are right at the limit. For a non-interleaved solution, you can look at TPS54824:
www.ti.com/.../tps54824.pdf
for a .47 uH output inductor, the ripple current will be 3.9 A though.

You should consider a separate post for your boost question. Buck and boost are supported by different teams.
