Since the LMR14030SDDAR works for the range of 8V to 40V we have used the same regulator for both 12V and 24V battery systems. But our customers who primarily use 24V batteries report that the device is getting damaged after few months of usage, the device fails due to power supply regulator failure.
But the customers with 12V battery systems do not complain as such. The devices are working since more than a year now.Can you please let me know how the regulator working differs when operated with 12V and 24V systems. Are there any graph plot which specifies these information. Recently many customers keep reporting this type of issues from the field.
Our device (hardware) is a OEM vehicle diagnostic tool which is used to diagnoses 4 wheelers at the service stations. Kindly support in solving these issues.
