BQ40Z50-R2: High-side NFET drive capability

Hello;

Need to understand the capabilities of the high-side N-FET drive. I note your bq76200 uses a scalable charge pump to support multiple parallel fets (A/N SLVA729A). However I can find no reference to this capability on the 40z50. Is this device capable of this as well?

There is a charge pump as well. Please refer to the datasheet.

Please refer to my question. Is the charge pump on the 40z50 capable of driving multiple parallel fets (e.g. 8), as is the bq76200. I can find nothing in the datasheet or reference manual about this.

The bq40z50 is not capable of driving multiple parallel FETs. The charge pump was designed for notebook applications. The most I have seen is that it can drive 1 set of parallel FETs. The more you load down, the slower the transitions between ON and OFF.
