We recommend our LLC resonant controller UCC256302. We recommend using the webench tool on the UCC256302 product page or the excel design calculator www.ti.com/.../sluc634 to help with your design.

UCC256302 is a family of 4 devices that have different features. Differences between them are described in this app note www.ti.com/.../slyt728.pdf

Can I use this UCC256302 PWM controller for Automotive application

UCC256302 is not available in AEC Q100 grade. If you do not need this rating then it can work in your application.

If you need Q100 rating, our phase shift full bridge converter UCC28951-Q1 is recommended. The phase shift full bridge topology also achieves ZVS so it has the same soft switching benefits that LLC has.

Hi,
In UCC256302 data sheet they mentioned Operating temperature range is -40 °C to +125°C. can't we use this IC for Automotive application.

Is there any AEC Q100 qualified LLC resonant converter IC available in ti. Please suggest me.

At this time TI does not have a dedicated resonant LLC controller that's AEC Q100 qualified.

You can find all of our isolated and resonant DC/DC controllers that are AEC Q100 rated at the link below.
