Hi,
Can the RESET_IN (GPIO_1) be tied directly to a power rail if it is not used (high = ON), or is there a requirement for a pull up resistor? If a pull up R is required, what is the smallest pull-up that can be used?
Current design: RESET_IN pulled up to VRTC (1.8V) with 10kohms. Our problem is that when VCCA (3.3V) is turned on with a linear ramp that spans ~3ms, VRTC also turns on rather slowly, and when the RESET_IN pin transitions through the Vil to Vih range the Ib ~=0.1mA, which stops that RESET_IN from attaining a valid high.
Do you know what the range might be on this higher current during transition? We want to pick a lower pullup resistance but want to make sure that it is stiff enough to make sure that the RESET_IN will get past this event. 1.0kohms appears to work, but we would like some assurance that it will always work.
Since this is defined in OTP as an INPUT, the abs max spec of 5mA doesn't apply, correct?
Thanks,
Mark
