BQ25883EVM: Can BQ25883EVM operate alone without EV2400?

Hi TI,

I have customer want to evaluate BQ25883EVM, However he does not have EV2400 connect to PC. Can BQ25883EVM operate alone such as setting the hardware inside? If Yes, how to operate the devices?

    Hello Yang OOi,
    The BQ25883 is a I2C controlled charger, so it will need EV2400 to do the evaluation.

    If the customer would like to use a standalone device, then BQ25886 would be the right device. You can order the EVM on ti.com.

    What is the application/end equipment?
