BQ24715: BQ24715 Leakage current when os is idle without heavy loadings

HI，

we use BQ24715 for nvdc Charge soulution, battery will drop its RSOC from 100% to 97% when OS is idle without heavy loading at two hours.

test the discharge Mosfet, the Gate open random and last on 2~4ms. as this condition ,the battery RSOC drop

check the  register  without change.

would you please confirm why the charge ic discharge or the  charge IC could not latch the discharge mosfet continuelly.

    Hi,

    Based on your description, it sounds like your system is occasionally drawing >256 mA of discharge current from the battery. This will cause the BATFET to turn on, as described in Section 8.3.12 of the datasheet.

    To confirm whether this is the case, you could try probing BATDRV and ISYS and see if the times when BATFET turns on correspond to times of higher current being drawn by the system load.
